Don Lemon has said he was reporting as a journalist at a Minnesota church where protestors said a pastor also worked for ICE.

Federal authorities arrested Lemon on Thursday evening on federal civil rights charges in connection with his coverage of a protest at Cities Church in St. Paul, Minn., on Jan. 18.

Lemon was on the scene of the protest, livestreaming footage of the demonstration where people can be seen entering the building and chanting “ICE out.”
