The two No. 1 seeds in the NFL playoffs get a bye to the divisional round. Here's how those teams have fared since postseason expansion.
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes says he's aiming to be ready for week one of the 2026 NFL season after knee surgery in December."I want to be ready for week one," he said, looking toward a 2026 campaign that will start on September 10.
"I want to be ready for Week 1. The doctors said I could," Mahomes said, "but I can't predict what happens throughout the process. That's the goal, to play Week 1 and have no restrictions. You want to be out there healthy and give us the best chance to win. I hope to do some things in OTAs and training camp and be able to do things there."
The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up well over $7,000 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception. The model entered Week 18 on a 53-37 run on top-rated picks dating back to 2024. Anybody following its NFL betting picks at sportsbooks and on betting sites could have seen strong returns.
