Sometimes a wave as he flew overhead was the most interaction we had for the day or maybe even a couple days. Four years ago we traded the high stress, emotional rollercoaster of Drew’s piloting career for running Driftwood as a full time job. We gained the stable family life and togetherness that we so badly needed. We no longer live the separate lives that left one of us always praying for the other’s safe return.
